I am confused between noc code 2713 and 2283. I am working as a QA Engineer and below are the roles and responsibilities.
Understanding the requirement and creating test scenarios.
• Interacting with Dev team to understand the functionality and prepare test cases.
• Reviewing the test scenarios with test lead/BI.
• Perform SIT testing and checking if the functionality is working as per the requirements.
• Raise the defect if any mismatch against requirement and reporting to dev team.
• Retesting the defects and setting the status of defect post pre-test.
• Automate the possible test cases using SQL.
• Perform Integration testing to check end to end correct data flow.
• Prepare the test result sheet by capturing sample data and reviewing the same with test lead.
• Demo the user story to product owners. • Log work hours and update the task on daily basis in Jira
• Document the test scenarios and test result in the shared location for future purpose in the tool-Confluence.
• Attending the refinement call in estimating the testing work hours for each user story
• Attending the retrospective call at the end of each sprint to discuss the pros and cons faced in each sprint and to plan the next sprint accordingly.
• Maintain the defect matrix at the end of each sprint for the internal purpose.
