PR Card Renewal & New - 2022 Processing Timeline

Hi everyone,
I know that they recieved my applications on may 9th(from the tracking number on canada post website) but I did not recieve any update or emails. Is this normal? Do I have to wait more?

Mine was received on the 6th and I just got AOR today so maybe another week or so and hopefully you get AOR too.

Finally round 2 seems to be the one!! After picture was rejected I resent the application.

Great news !! I sent my fresh application back after reworking all the absences, new photos, new signatures and was received 30th May. Let's hope I get the AOR mid June or so. It's round three for me.....

If you have any dependents , use their own UCI to link their applications to your GCKey as well.

Hi Everyone,
We applied for my husband's PR Card RENEWAL on May 9th. We know from Purolator that the package was delivered on May 11. It's been 3 full weeks and we haven't heard anything about our application. When we go to Canada.ca to track the application, we tried to link his application but it keeps showing his original PR application update from 2017 and then it says his PR card has expired. Anyone else experiencing the same? How can we track the application to know if they actually received our application and started any processing???

Hey thanks for sharing. What is AOR?
So you got a confirmation via email from the IRCC on May 31st? That's about 5 weeks. So I'm guessing as per that calculation our confirmation must arrive on June 15. Ok fingers are crossed

The same thing happened to us as well. You will need to wait till you get the AOR email, with the application number. Once you ge the AOR, you will then be able to link into your account using GC key.

my application was delivered April 29th, and I got the AOR today June 01st. From the other responses it seems like it’s roughly taking about a months time to receive the AOR.

PR Card arrived in the mail today, exactly 2 days after it was mailed.
