Thatsy I asked.

Great info, so license not required for 3219 in any province. Well, then to work as a pharmacy technician, only registration is required, fine. But for international professionals, our degree ECA should be done by PEBC for registration. I did my M.Pharm ECA by WES instead.

Thats the problem. My employer will give experience letter only as Pharmacist and not as Pharmacy technical or technical assistant. But I want to proceed with noc 3219. Is it possible?

No, you can’t use NOC 3219. To use 3219, you need employment letters to prove your work experience in the NOC. You are a pharmacist not a technician so you use 3131.

Yes thats correct, but as PEBC exam is tough so I thought not to move with 3131. But can i get experience letter with title as pharmacist and incorporate duties and responsibilities of 3219? 60% match is enough know.
Thanks for all ur replies.

You can’t just pick a NOC. You need experience in the NOC with employment letter(s). if your experience letter is for a pharmacist but change it to be like 3219 then that is misrepresentation. VOs aren’t stupid. You have a pharmacy degree and trying to claim another NOC.

PEBC doesn’t need to assess your degree. Only if you want to become licensed. You can use WES or IQAS to assess your degree and then you can use the NOC 3131.

From the website: If you’re in a position where you don’t need a license, one of the other designated organizations can assess your credentials. For example, you may not need a license to work in the pharmaceutical industry or in a government job where you need a pharmacy degree for the job, but don’t need a license to practice pharmacy.
