    Self-Employed Application 2018

I remembered reading about it somewhere but I couldn’t remember where exactly I found those info, so please don’t quote this from me! It says that they accept about 500-600 applicants a year, and I remembered reading something about a 20% success rate. That means there are probably about 2500...

    Self-Employed Application 2018

Hi all, Based on my conversations with some of you, I guess the quota for 2019 has already been reached - that’s why nobody is moving. Probably things will move again in 2020. This is just my guess. Good luck everyone - just play the waiting game. They only take in 500-700 applicants in this...

    Self-Employed Application 2018

Hi all, Just did my soft landing today. They did ask for POF - but this is after I declared I did not bring in more than $10,000 Canadian dollars. My POF is in an account in Singapore, which could be withdrawn in Canada via ATM but at the actual point of declaration we only had like $2000 in...

Based on noc 5244, you can apply under the federal self-employed category under the cultural stream. Not the farmowners stream or the Olympian athletes or coaches stream. https://www.justforcanada.com/self-employed-program-canada-application-guide-and-tips.html All the best!

    Self-Employed Application 2018

Ya they have closed the farm management stream. Those people had applied before they closed the stream. Which was the link did you try to click for?

    Self-Employed Application 2018

I think the income doesn’t matter. We don’t know for sure as it’s always a different person handling our cases. But, for all we know it may be a hidden criteria when they are processing your application. Net worth is an important issue here, that’s why they have a requirement on proof of...

    Self-Employed Application 2018

They didn’t ask for proof of funds. I was prepared to show them my bank accounts but nobody asked for it. That said they may request for it anytime, and they would probably check on mine when we do the landing.

    Self-Employed Application 2018

So far I have not read on any interviews for the cultural category under federal self-employed but I may be wrong on this. I know they used to have interviews for the now-closed farm owners category under FSE though. I have not gone for an interview for my application.
