Is your US employer sending you to Canada? If yes, you can get a work permit (Intra company transfer) as long as your company is ready to take care of it. But, if you are planning on finding an employer and having them sponsor your work permit, then that's slightly tough unless you are in Tech. The work permit will not affect your PR application.
Adding to what @RSub said if you are with the company more than a year after that you are having an intra company transfer you dont require LMIA.some one I know did that,Now he is working remotely from canada.Baisically he is getting US salary and working in Canada if you get that ,that is the best option even better than H1B(If you are an Indian/Chinese)

There has been some activity from Mexico, with approval of a couple of applications with March 2020 AOR. For later dates, it seems to be moving as fast as maple syrup in negative temperature.

My file was touched for the last time mid-January 2021. Ordered new notes 2 weeks ago.

Really? The only activity I’ve seen in groups recently is 2 medical renewals. Other than that, they are approving several spousal apps in 5 months when processing time is 12.

Looks like am finally at the point of saying 'FINALLLLYYY!" :cool:Our application finally got approved after being at all stages passed pending final decision for almost 1.5 years. Hope the finalization of the app / PPR is around the corner in the not too near future.
