I have never been more disappointed. He didn't even acknowledge that there the backlog consisted of FSW people; everyone bu FSW. It does look like the memo is correct and processing time will increase.

FSW is only 10% of the PR backlog and it doesn’t give media to talk about resuming draws, since the effects of moving from high skilled to low skilled immigration will only be felt later when their economy stagnates.

Summary of Sean Fraser's radio appearance
  • Canada needs more immigration
  • 411,000 is the baseline number for 2022 - high chance of increase of numbers
  • Wants to decrease time to get work permits (targeted towards temporary foreign workers)
  • LMIA exploitation solution - provided no real solution
  • Family sponsorship issue - no realistic solution now and in future. Demand is too high for numbers allocated
  • Future pathways for inland workers with poor english are being explored
  • Hiring has been continuously increased but demand (for Canadian immigration) is outstripping supply
  • Exploring options for undocumented workers
"Exploring" in Canadian means thanks for suggestion, might not happen

Was those topics where he is exploring pathways for the useless something he brought up on his own or was it a question?

Was a part of a bigger question, if I am not mistaken. He started talking about one thing and then progressed into that.

The Indian (I think Sikh) interviewer asked all the questions. It was clear what his priorities were. Sikh community is a huge Liberal voting block so they have to petition for their vote

So you are saying that I can't compete with FSW because I chose to have a degree from a Canadian institution before applying for Canadian PR? I have done Graduation and MBA from India from FC college Pune then did a post grad program from Lambton College and all this in my field of hospitality and how I am employed successfully in my own field but someone I can't compete with FSWs because I got my PR in CEC? HOW THE HELL IS THAT? CANADA IS NOT INVITING PEOPLE ONLY FROM STEM BACKGROUNDS, it is opening doors for all. And by all even the low skilled workers who make sandwiches at Subway and push carts in Walmart. BECAUSE THEY FUCKING NEED PEOPLE TO DO THESE KINDS OF JOBS. THEY NEED PEOPLE TO MAKE BABIES TO COPE UP WITH FALLING BIRTH RATE AND AGING POPULATION. NOT FOR SPEAKING FLUENT ENGLISH OR FRENCH IDIOTS. The kind of high ground you all FSW sit on is just insane and truely out of touch. If you are so fucking talented to US of A. And remember it's the government which has given a cec guy's English knowledge and speaking ability an "okay" when they gave him a PR. Who are you to criticize them for their English when then government says it's enough for them?
Look its not that hard to see:

1. FSW draws did not happen for a much longer time. These People in the pool are at CSR 500 or so.
2. in-land folks had draws till sept 2021. Then there was TR2PR.

So CEC pool is at much lower score. Right now, in even rounds, FSW will dominate.

fsw is small part of pr. He mentioned pr processing times as the first item, when he was going through processing issues.
