LMAO @ folk saying 3-10k for mandumbass is reasonable/not alot of money. Guess it's true, we are not the same.
Applicants typically spend close to the lower end of those figures just to file a complete application (processing fees, language tests, ECA costs, medicals, etc). More if they are PNP.

At the point at which one might be considering mandamus, it is simply the opportunity cost of not doing anything. If an applicant could afford to file in the first place, mandamus with a competent lawyer is not outside of the realms of affordability.

thanks for checking in here pal. you are the first paper applicant to visit our thread. enjoy your stay here.
we have a lot of activities here, it's fun.

In my opinion it is just a panic video that is not supported by anything. Just compare the figures from 2012 and you will understand why it does not make any sense and they cannot just conduct CEC draws as it is not in their benefit and they have said that loudly.

that stream added 20 pages approx to our thread, this is the least it caused.
You see only few folks talking here, and see inventory hopefuls 194K, this will definitely going to creat some ripple effect. In the end Canada still want to be attractive to be considered, when US and Australia are most preferred.

No I am not, "I am just a reasonable person that do not eat anything thrown on some YT channel" ;)

What are we talking about. Guys seriously answer one question. What is the amount of application in the backlog for FSW as of now ;)

Actually, this entire "Podcast" is one weird publicity stunt. First, 6 months timeline is ONLY for EE folks. Rest, its not. PNP? Nope. AINP? Are you kidding me? TR2PR? Sorry. So only EE folks can do this mandamus thing realistically.

Now. ALL of EE-FSW folks are actually eligible for Mandamus. So that 54K people and about 18-20K application right there. If just 100 of them (over and above today) actually go for mandamus, its about 300K extra cash RIGHT there. Thats juicy. 300K for writing cookie cutter arguments? Sign me up please! No wonder Steven went to Kubeir. He has a lot of pull and viewership in FSW community.

Notice : the only person to give anecdotal evidence for mandamus and the "fact" that now you have to do the mandamus actually to get the benefit is the one who is to earn from this? It reeks of rent seeking.

And the profit is made :D

lol what about FSW apps that already have all stages completed, surely it would be easier to send a PPR than to process a CEC app from scratch. Its absurd to think they would cancel pending apps. If they had any intention to cancel, why would they waste time sending re-meds and Schedule A requests?
I think they will process all FSW apps and CEC as well. 2022 target is basically covered with their backlog. There is like 20K (?) free places out of their 100K yearly target (Federal high skill including cec, fsw), I think they will give those places to CEC applicants for 2022 so I expect a CEC draw soon.
2023 is a different story, I expect an all program draw late spring.

I will give you an answer. Back in 2012 there was over 300 000 FSW applications. I am not talking about people. I am talking about amount of applications - 300 000 FSW applications.

At the moment we are at 50 000 or less which they can process quickly :D They ahve only slacked applications that were older than or equal to 4 years.
