Hey @jasmin22 I read in some thread that they are not calling people with outland dependents, so the other person in that thread was planning to go to some other country with their spouse to do the biometrics.

If it is possible for you maybe you wanna try that route. Just make sure you can come back in Canada.

So i guess even the person missed the call or got wrong location info once they hang up that set we got no way to reach them out just need to wait..what i would suggest as last try is go to missisuaga airport road SC which you thought would be and if you got any email confirmation abt appointment show they and explain that you couldnt reach them as u tried calling SC customer service..if you dont have any proof of your appointment to carry still give it a try going there and if u can explain them and if the person attending you is kind enough will try to help you..

I told the agent to send me the email confirmation, he said he will do it. But nothing so far. At least with email I could visit SC and talk to them. I see many co-applicants being refused since agent calls each person regardless how many people are in that application.

Hm. I can try that but I feel like that might not help in my case. Bcoz not only me but my dependent in India is also waiting to give biometrics. If I travel from Canada and he travels from India to another country just for biometrics, it will be a costly affair. Even if I do, IRCC IS NOT FINALISING APPLICATION WITH DEPENDENTS OUTLAND. IRCC told me that they cannot finalize application where there is a dependent outland. Everyone on the application has to be present in Canada. They also mentioned that if I am able to call my dependent here on a visitor visa, then they will finalize the app. So, doesn't make sense.

Hi there even if dependent is not accompanying, Still needs biometrics otherwise criminality of dependent can never start.
I am in similar boat as my eligibility security and criminality are done but only criminality of spouse is pending as IRCC couldn’t confirm if she is in canada which she is and her biometrics are also on file since feb 2020. I gave mine in October and my criminality was done in 2 days.
I just don’t understand how IRCC is dealing with cases.

I'm pretty sure that non accompanying dependents are not required to give the Biometrics.
