If you are in Canada, have you submitted RCMP PCC?

If not, then you will be asked for it at a later date, and that is why your criminality will continue to show in progress.
@legalfalcon - My eligibility and security is complete and (eligibility is passed and Security blank in GCMS by Officer) and criminality is pending due to biometric. Do you think i will also have to give RCMP? I have been living in Canada for 1 years and 9 months,

Hello Everyone,
I have received the GCMS notes today and below is the status:
Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: Passed

Idid go through the Notes section at the bottom and noticed my eligibility was recommended passed on March 11( Feb 11 is my AOR). I'm confused and a bit worried as my case has not been touched for 6 months since it was recommended passed by a case analyst in march. Kindly advice what could be the reason. @legalfalcon
when did you apply for gcms notes?

In most cases many applications are just on hold. See if you have COVID pace under activities in the middle of the GCMS notes.

Also, the average time for application processing is now 9 months. This is just an administrative delay.
That's good to know. Can hardly wait for my GCMS notes to see what the status is. I submitted the GCMS notes on 22nd Sept, so still have about a month to wait!!

All this wait and unknowns DOES NOT help my high BP issues!!!

That might be true! I am just waiting for an officer to pick my file. Does RCMP Screening with showing NRT doesn’t satisfy that thing?
Thanks

IRCC can ask any document or PCC. Most inland applicants are asked for a RCMP PCC before an application is finalised.

If this is stressing you out, you should take a break. There are many who have a PPR and don't know what t do with it. Stress is not worth it.

Most inland applicants are asked for a RCMP PCC. However, it is at the discretion of the officer. IRCC is not moving toward doing away with the RCMP PCC since they have the biometrics required to run the scan.

RCMP is only to be submitted if requested? That's what I have heard?

And that is correct. However, as a strategy, since many inland applicants are asked to submit a RCMP PCC, they do it along with the application. This saves a few weeks, since the officer will send a request, then the applicant with obtain the PCC and submit it, then it will be evaluated and the application will be updated.

As per IRCC:

  • Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.

Hey guys. My AOR is February 21. Outland applicant. I sent a webform in August and got a response that only security has been passed. However about two weeks after that response I got a ghost update and my ADR changed to N/A. Sent another webform two weeks later and they responded with this.

Your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

  • The background verifications are currently valid.
  • The security background verification is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification is currently valid.

I’m hoping they start sending out the email we’re all waiting for. Fingers crossed.

I have noticed under activities section, 11.2-EE MI, Review Required. Could you please explain what it might be.

MI refers to the ministerial instructions applicable to your application. Seehttps://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/mandate/policies-operational-instructions-agreements/ministerial-instructions.html

I have reduced my visit to the site to once a day.
If I could, I'll just forget about the site and hopefully surprisingly see the PPR email someday in the near future.
