It all seems so hopeless now. It's my 254th day since AOR.
I just called the helpline to be told that the agents have all the data they need, so I just need to sit tight and wait.

Even to the reminder that they sent to the officer in May, they replied that "We have all the information we need. Nothing else needed".
This is so depressing.
Bare with us... my AOR is Oct 5th, so I'm right there with you (the only difference is that they recently requested additional docs)

The wait is so painful. I have many plans on hold because of this process, it has been an odd opportunity to control anxiety lol
..but I am sure we will get our golden email soon!

wow bro...and remember u were stuck in ip1 and all of us were in ip2...happy 4 u..i m stuck in review required..what did ur gcms reveal?
Just received the 2nd set of GCMS notes and they literally did not reveal anything. Once eligibility was met, it looked like they just parked my file and left it to die. When they finally decided to pick it up, looks like they processed everything within 10 days.

No clue what exactly are they reviewing anymore lol

Maybe we need to review the visa officer whether he is competent enough to handle our case :D:D:D

LOL! ah, look at these games that agents play! I'd be fuming!

Funny story. So 30 days ago I called the call centre and explained that my file has been approved since April 15 and I am not sure why there is a delay. The agent sent a message to the office on my behalf asking whether I could expect an interview or a request for passport email. So 30 days have passed, which is the amount of time the call centre agents have to wait before raising another query, so I called them again. The agent then tells me there has been no response to the question, but there is an update! So now I am excited. I ask what is the update... and the agent tells me my file is now with the Edmonton office. I am of course surprised, because my case has been with the Edmonton office for at least two months, probably more. Turns out the first agent sent a message to Sydney, which is where my case was previously... So the new agent has now sent a message to Edmonton, which is where the first message should have gone. I don't know whether to be surprised anymore.

As I understand, IRCC usually requests another med exam when one's PPR is about to be issued. There's no reason to ask for remed when one is under RR, SS or other sort of verification, as it can take much time.
Thanks, Yes you are right. @Dannyboy-abd , i believe the transfer doesnt have negative implications. It's very possible that you both may be told to do another medical. At the moment, you may just need to patiently wait. Not to worry.

Friends, I filled up the web form to contact IRCC. I am 18 oct AOR.

I got the following reply : "Application is awaiting the review of an officer".

Does this mean anything ?

Hello people,

Eventually, I got the golden mail today morning at 6.27AM ET from CIO Sydney. (My VO since application submission). Thanks to you guys in the forum who kept my hope alive :)

Here are my timelines:
9th Oct: AOR - Applied under FSW Inland
8th Nov: Medical passed, Background check moved to IP2
3rd Dec: My medical expired as medical status changed to not required. (Note: I submitted same medical which was done for my Work permit on Jan 2018)
17th Dec: Eligibility set to Met, Criminality set to passed by case processing Agent (got to know from the GCMS received on Jan 30, requested on Jan 1st)
31st Dec: Received request for my re-medical (it triggered hope that my app will be processed soon :p)
17th Jan: My medical status again changed to pass.
From 17th Jan to 16th May: No movement in application. Sent another GCMS request on Feb 14th and received it on March 19th, but no change from previous GCMS except for medical pass on 17th Jan. Called up CIC in April & May after completing 6 and 7 month, but there was no change in status.
April 2nd week probably, my spouse medical would have also expired as for her as well, I submitted same medical which was done for her visitor visa.

16th May: Meanwhile, I had filed for my current work permit extension, and 16th May, I received re-medical request for my spouse. Same day my work permit application also got approved. I noticed that there was some delay in my work permit application processing. I suspect that the officer working on my work permit application might have reached out to the CIO office to check on my PR application status to determine if he needs to approve my extension. And due to medical expiration, probably approved WP extension.

16th Jun: Medical passed for my spouse. We got the appointment scheduled little late due to spouse health, and also doctor delayed the result upload.

18th Jun: I got PPR.

Again, thanks to everyone in this forum for all the valuable info. @MintyUK - Please update my record in your table :)
