I really would love to know it!

I was wondering if people who had additional docs requested receive the PR later than the other ones.
I was wondering at that too! In fact I got a request for my daughter's passport as an additional document even though it was already uploaded.

Personally, I don’t think that this kind of document makes a big delay in the process. I believe that takes more time when they request docs such as police checks, once it takes almost 1 month to receive the doc at home. I uploaded a my Imm5475 form with a small mistake and 1 day after that they sent me an email requesting to change it.

Hello experts,

I know it is not so related but I just want to ask you insights about this.I just wanna ask what do you mean by this posted in CIC news (please see link below). I became paranoid when I read the caption "candidates in the Canadian Experience Class who receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) through the Federal Skilled Worker Class must also prove they have the necessary funds." I know that CEC applicants does not need to show POF but when I read this, I got confuse.

https://www.cicnews.com/2018/01/settlement-funds-can-make-or-break-your-application-for-permanent-residence-0110065.html#gs.SswVQGMn

Furthermore, while only Federal Skilled Worker and Federal Skilled Trades candidates are asked to confirm that they have access to the required funds when determining their eligibility for the Express Entry pool, candidates in the Canadian Experience Class who receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) through the Federal Skilled Worker Class must also prove they have the necessary funds.

Thanks in advance

This simply means that even if you may be eligible for CEC, but if one applies under FSW, the applicant needs to show PoF. Eg. A person working in Canada, but is unable to get documents for CEC, and is still eligible for FSW. If he applies under FSW, he cannot claim that he is exempt from PoF, just because he could have applied under CEC.

Hi Legal Falcon,

Could you please help with the below query:

I didn't pay RRPF fee when I submitted my application on Dec 11th. Is it better to pay the RRPF fee now or is it better to wait until CIC asks for?
If I can pay now,

1.How do I pay now? Is there a link? I don't see any options to pay in my profile.
2. Do I need to submit a letter of explanation on why I am paying it now?
3. Will I get a confirmation that I paid the fee and will it be tied to my account?

Thanks

You can either pay now, or wait until IRCC asks. The only advantage of paying now is that you will save 1-3 weeks of processing time if you pay now. If IRCC asks, they will send an notification. You will then pay and then it will be verified and an officer will move your application as compared with the office just moving your application right away if your fee is complete.

To pay the fee now, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

After you get the receipt, send it to IRCC via CSE https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
