HI All,

I am working for 15 months On PGWP I believe my wage is less than median but higher than low in the British Columbia province according to job bank canda. My lawyer is giving me an option to apply for LMIA and my company is ready as well. I just want to know what are my chances? The comapny I work in has about 90 employees and 85 would be canadian. However, it is an engineering research company and thus we do not sell anything. Is it a good option to apply LMIA or NO?

Thank you very much for your replies.

NOC2211 is not a high demand occupation in BC but is also not on any ineligible occupations list. It's really hard to say what the LMIA would be but if you look at the statistics- there are 8 companies who have posted job under 2211 on job bank and about 152 Canada wide; your employer is paying you below median so it will most likely be assessed under low wage and probably be not in your favor. This is just my opinion, I could be totally wrong! But, if your employer is willing to invest(you shouldn't be paying anything for LMIA), it might be worth a shot. How much time you have left on your PGWP?
Thanks for your reply.
