Ok. My aor is 7 june and still in ip1 since 21 june. I too m very worried.
Don't be. Don't panic looking at others who got their PPR sooner. May be theirs is a straight forward case with minimum / no travel history. Or, may be the agent handling their application was quick in processing. You are still doing fine with your timeline.. The average time for processing applications for PR is 6months or less. I hope you get it sooner though. I know the wait is killing.. All the best!!

Hi everyone,

Below are my details. I have been stuck in the IP1 stage since June 2018:

CRS score (single applicant, married but my husband is not accompanying): 482
ITA: March 14, 2018
AOR: June 4, 2018
Additional documents requested (IELTS score copy - which I forgot to attach and a background check related schedule): June 16, 2018
Medicals Passed: June 20, 2018
No further documents required update: June 28, 2018

There has been no update on the profile after this. It shows the same "We will let you know when your background check starts" since then.

How do I request an update on my application from CIC via email, could someone please help me with the email address?

PS. I've applied under FSW-O from India. I lived abroad for 5 years across the middle east and Europe and I furnished complete details of my stay, PCC etc.
Most of us have same scenario..As far as I have researched most of the June FSW Non US applicants are stuck at ip1..
My Aor is June 4th and RPRF july 5th..No update after that. I called Ircc thrice after that and just got to know tat eligibility recommended pass and bg check yet to start..And tats d case for most of us..We cant actually do much in dis situation.. We have to wait as our application is still in d time limit..
Most of us including me are just worried as we are seeing some pprs from d same timeline as ours..But if we look closely those are only handful of applications tat processed tat fast..So its better we just wait and hope to get our pprs soon..U can call IRCC and check ur status. There is no harm in tat..

To be honest, a lot of US applicants including me are also in the same boat. We haven't seen any progress since IP1 which was way back in June. I guess it all depends on case by case scenario (including visa office/ visa officer/ travel history etc)

My case is also in Montreal. I had called them up on August 1st and at that time my eligibility had not been done yet. But I didn't ask whether it was not approved by Visa officer or it had not even started. My AOR is 19th June. But i know @pathwaytofreedom has also file in Montreal and has AOR of 8th June and was told same thing as me. In a way it's good to know that there is someone who has eligibility as recommended pass from June AOR in Montreal office. I know two more cases from April AOR who are being processed at Montreal but have not got any decision on eligibility yet. This is a bit positive news from that perspective that Montreal is atleast working on June cases. I hope we all get some good news soon.
Hi,
If my status is Eligibility Recommended Pass, that means, some case analyst or offices has to review and make it pass right. I have not met my eligibility yet. I don't think that this is some kind of positive news :|
I am sorry if my earlier post statement gave you such impression. Montreal has been slow processing center, and it still is. I am afraid ours are not similar to April AOR person. Lets hope for the best.

Yes, i think it means the Analyst has recommended pass but an officer has to approve, which is usually the case (i think). I guess any progress is good news considering how slow they(Montreal) are at processing applications.

Oh okay. At least it moved to "recommended pass". When I had called on Aug 1 they had not even begun eligibility checks. My AOR is 19 June. I'm also US based applicant. Yeah we can just hope for the best. Montreal seems to be damn slow. I'm sure if more people called up who are waiting for things to move we may see a lot of us are in Montreal office.

I believe you are obligated to inform them of this change, especially since it affects your CRS score. I don't know how it will affect the processing of your application. I assume the job you were laid off for is the same one that gave you the job offer. Would you have had enough points for an ITA without the 50 points for the job offer?
