Hi guys,
My PR card status shows approved today, but under document status, the country of issue is neither Canada nor my home country. Is there something wrong? Or just PR card is issue somewhere else?
I'm inland applicant, my address is in Canada.

My timeline:
Landed: Aug 15
PR approval on myCIC: Oct 5

Hi everyone,

Just called CIC call centre and they said they are still processing pictures from July 27.

I had to resend my photo in August (picture arrived on August 17) so they said to call them back in 3-4 weeks....

I resend my photo in Sep 13. You resend your photo via post mail to Nova Scotia office?

Hi all, What IVR options are you selecting while calling CIC. I want to confirm address on their file for PR card. I tried many options but couldn't connect to an agent for PR card. Are you using PR card application number starting from R or Express entry application number starting from E.

Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks

1-2-0. 2 is for address update and option 0 let's you talk to an agent. Wait times are generally 30+ mins

Hi
Can we expect any update in MYCIC A/c after they receive the photos requested (under "Review of additional documents")

Currently it shows as follows;
Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.

my photos were received by them yesterday 05/10/17 (sent by courier from home country). I thought I would get an update when they receive them.

Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided are being reviewed

The above update has been there since two or three days before the photo request letter.

I called and found out they mailed it to the wrong street number (doesn't exist on my street). Most likely it will be returned to CIC Nova Scotia and mailed out again to the correct address I provided to the agent. If it's not received after 6 weeks I will need to file a solemn declaration so they can issue a new one. I heard the solemn declaration takes just as long as new application. This means from landing to receiving PR card could take 6 month. I hope I don't have travel plans anytime soon.

They should provide everyone with a printout confirming the address as part of the landing process.... saw many cases of wrong address in this forum
It is absolutely pathetic and laughable just how many pr cards are being mailed to the wrong addresses. It has happened with mine as well. No wonder their system is so slow and overloaded - they are probably having to make multiple cards, deal with multiple solemn declarations when they don't arrive, and process loads more PRTD applications than ought to be necessary. Did you land at Toronto airport by any chance? I wonder if we are all getting the same immigration officer who is incapable of entering an address correctly into the computer? It is causing me no end of inconvenience and stress trying to track mine down. Then I'll probably have to apply for prtd when I get home anyway (so extra expense, delay, hassle.) The whole system needs a complete overhaul - or at least, some basic training needs to be given to certain cic officers. The one I got was not only rude, but answered some very basic questions incorrectly (I got the correct answers from amateurs on this forum), then she sends my pr card to the wrong address despite me giving her the full and correct one. Argh!!

In my opinion, this process of PR card is stupid, the card should be printed right away at the port of entry, each port of entry should have a card printer and a camera. Once you finish the landing process with border officer, you should just go to the next booth and get your PR card. This centralized card printing slows the system down. They already print study permits and work permits at each port of entry, then why not PR cards.

Centralized printing, makes the system slow, requests from each port of entry are forwarded to the same location, with a limited number of workers, that overloads the system, then officers at the border are also making mistakes of wrong addresses, some people have photo issues, especially who were outland applicants. PRTD is also one stupid thing, your COPR should be a PRTD as well, you should be allowed to travel on that until you get the stupid card
