Congratulations! I notice that it is quite fast (from P2 to eCOPR) for many of us whose eCOPR is issued from the Calgary office.

Hello Just to update that I finally got my eCOPR after waiting for 4 months.

It has been a big waiting game, I did all that I can to follow up. Not sure if this helped but I called IRCC yesterday and asked the agent to send a message again.

Thanks. I did multiple times (replied back to my P1 email and the general east email), did not try to send to all the offices as I wanted to wait for one more week. But I believe what helped might have been the multiple times I asked the agent to leave a message (not sure if they did ) or organically it was time for my application in the queue to be processed.

Hello everyone, I got the initial portal email today and I submitted the information. I wanted to know what are the steps ahead and how many days it will take to get the PR card from here on ?

So the system will approve your address and eCOPR will be uploaded to your account and you will get email notification for that. After that PR card.

I am in weird situation..Any input is appreciated. I have submitted declaration that I am in Canada on PR portal and I have been waiting for ecopr. My dependent is outside Canada and got copr and visa on passport. As soon my dependent got copr on application tracker it started showing task pending on my name and it is to enter Canada using copr issue.. It is super confusing and I am afraid the system is showing the task in my name whereas I have been waiting for ecopr since I submitted details on portal .Is it like that? If the dependent is outside Canada and gets COPR it is updated for primary applicant in application tracker? I think no one is going to look at my application as pending item is on me to enter Canada using copr issued

I am CEC applicant and received my eCOPR today. I have to travel outside Canada on 10th Feb 2024. Can I travel on eCOPR / my existing WP? or I must have PR card before I travel? Is my WP still valid?

Hello, I do not believe you can travel with your eCOPR as suggested in the Portal 1 confirmation email or your work permit since your status has changed. You may however apply for a PRTD while you are waiting for your PR Card to return to Canada.

Your PR card might arrive before then. But if it does not, you have two options:

1. If you have easy access to the US, you can enter the US and cross the US-Canada border in a private vehicle with your eCOPR
2. Apply for a PRTD while outside Canada

Question:
On PR Portal, my photo's status is shown as 'In Review with IRCC'. Should I not expect my PR Card to arrive until that is shown as 'Accepted by IRCC'?
OR
Is it something I shouldn't care about? or Something they don't immediately update when PR Card is printed?

My address and photo are still 'in review', but my card was already mailed. For most people it stays 'in review' even after they receive the card. You can find updates about the card in GCKey, they don't update the PR Portal.

Finally got mine after 4 months, so glad that wait is over and i wish good luck to everyone. I hope nobody has to wait this long like few of us did. I really appreciate to all my dear ones for being a supportive. I found this thread really helpful.

P1 : July 17 ( but they didn’t get my reply so 2nd notice was October 16 )
P2 : October 18
eCOPR : January 2
COPR expiry : June 19, 2024

Waiting for PR Card now but I’m curious on how long does it usually takes? For the card to arrive? And PR Portal says photo is still in review?
