Hi Can you confirm if this is returned for ID proof along with PR and if so what other documents you gave for IRCC to accept the minor application?

You can use the passport bio page and the health card. That's what I and everyone I know did, and it worked.

I know you already sent the passport bio page by default along with your minor application, but you have to send another copy attached with the health card as his second ID. I know it doesn't make sense, but unfurtunatlly it is what it is.

Online is so slow, applied online on March 19th, in progress since April 25th, nothing after.
Some paper applications are also moving very slowly. We have an application for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 minors). Received our AOR on 11 April and has been "In Progress" ever since.... the updated date has changed but nothing else....haven't even completed BC. Some people seem to pass the BC so quickly. We haven't received any communication requesting fingerprints or anything, just quiet...

So the update date has changed, which means there has been movement. That's good news.

Online files have just been rotting with not even a date change.

Exactly! No change at all
Should have applied on paper
I still haven't ruled out sending a paper application, but it seems that online applicants who sent in a second application on paper haven't heard back from IRCC yet. So waiting on their case to see how I should proceed.

I will not go for another application, that might mean we may lose the 3 months plus of progress that we witnessed already

You're assuming there has been any progress.

The funny part is that its likely that our files haven't even been touched post AOR.

In the other thread, this person who applied online in Feb applied for ATIP Notes in May, got them today. There has been no movement on online file. So that person applied in person. Although still waiting on AOR.

GCMS notes are not so helpful as it is too early, also they have 30-40 days old information (date requested).

I believe sending another application could further delay the process. I know people waiting since 2019! If by chance the system gets confused with multiple applications, it will cause unexpected delays.
