The Quebec Government has determined that there are entry barriers to some professions which would significantly reduce the chances of prospective immigrants finding employment in these fields.

These occupations are deemed to be closed to Skilled Worker/Professional applicants intending to reside in Montreal or another city in the Province of Quebec.

The following occupations are currently "not in demand":

• Specialist Physicians
• General Practitioners and Family Physicians
