Quebec Immigration - Employability and Professional Mobility

The Quebec Immigration Employability and Professional Mobility Program is for applicants who do not qualify under the Assured Job Program or the Occupations in Demand Program.

To obtain 8 points under the Quebec Immigration Employability and Professional Mobility Program and qualify for a Quebec Selection Certificate, applicants must score at least 30 points (35 points if married or in a common-law/conjugal relationship).

Points are awarded on the following basis:

Notes:
  • Work experience must have been accumulated during the ten years preceding the application date.
  • Work experience includes remunerated employment and internships, whether remunerated or not.
  • As an exception, an international student who has received a diploma from a Quebec university or college (or will receive a diploma within 12 months of the application date) does not need to meet the six month work requirement and is automatically awarded 1 point under the Work Experience criterion.
