Yesterday, the city of Kingston in Ontario announced the introduction of a new web portal aimed at attracting new immigrants to the city.
The bilingual web portal, which will officially be launched on Friday, offers new immigrants and those planning to immigrate to Canada information on the benefits of settling in Kingston as well as settlement services in the area.
"We want to attract more new Canadians to Kingston to help grow our knowledge-based community, fill worker gaps in our health-care and skilled-trades communities, and generally grow our economy," said Kingston Mayor Harvey Rosen.
