A Certificado de Antecedentes Penales is required from the Dirección Nacional del Registro Nacional de Reincidencia in Buenos Aires or at branches throughout the country. You must make the request in person and fingerprints will be taken.
The petition must specifically mention that the certificate is requested “con excepción al artículo 51 del Código Penal”. The certificate must be issued by the Federal Ministry of Justice and Human Rights.
Non-Resident Requests
You can obtain the Certificado de Antecedentes Penales by submitting an application with applicable fees at an Argentine consular office.

How to get one?
You must provide a full fingerprint and name check. Certificates can be obtained through the Australian Federal Police (recommended) or the local state police authority. State-issued certificates are acceptable where the certificate is based on a fingerprint and name search of the National Databases. Please note that state-issued certificates from Queensland, South Australia and West Australia must also be accompanied by a Traffic History printout, which may be obtained by contacting the local State Transport/Traffic branch. A file number, if available, should be endorsed on the certificate. You should apply for a Strafregisterbescheinigung (Certificate of the Penal Register) in person at the Bundespolizeikommissariat or Bezirkhauptmannschaft. You should submit an application (on-line at www.help.gv.at) and an official photo identity document (such as a passport, an identity card or a driver’s licence). Name changes must be supported by legal documents such as marriage certificates. You may designate a representative with power of attorney to apply on your behalf or to pick up the certificate, but not both. You must present yourself at the Bundespolizeikommissariat or Bezirkhauptmannschaft at least once.

Applications can be made in person at the local police station. You must present a passport and submit a bank draft from the Bangladesh bank or any branch of the Sonali bank for the required fee.
Non-Resident Requests
Bangladesh citizens and other nationals living outside Bangladesh but who have previously resided in Bangledesh for more than six months will be required to submit a Police Certificate. You may obtain a Police Certificate by applying with required fees to the High Commission or Embassy of Bangladesh in your country of current residence.
