I have sent my application on 09/09/09 - is there a way to check on ECAS what is the progress ?

On TNT tracking it shows, the documents were received by CIC on 10/09/09!

How long before they update the eCAS system with updates such as "Application Received" etc..??

Anyone?

I received my AOR today from CIO Sydney. This is my timeline:
NOC 1111
Application sent - 6-26-09
Application received as per letter from CIO - 7-2-09
DD received as per letter from CIO - 7-30-09
DD encashed as per bank's records - 8-5-09
AOR received from CIO - 9-18-09
79 days processing from date of receipt by CIO

I am now being asked to send full application to Buffalo Visa Office within 120 days.  But there is no mention of IELTS.
Does anyone know when or at what point the IELTS is being requested? I thought they requested IELTS to be submitted together with full application to visa office. Pls advise.

Good luck to everyone!

Send the IELTS result with you full application to avoid any delay. Its a part of your application where you mark the for language test taken or not. IELST is strongly recommended and it will clearly evaluate your points for language.

Please also tell me what did you write in your application about IELST that you have taken the test or not? or any thing about IELTS ?

Thanks afaraz...
I did not mention anything about the IELTS when I first submitted my application to CIO. I simply sent a letter of english proficiency as requested by my representatve. I am using a representative so they are the ones who are preparing all my docs for me. I just thought that CIO would ask for IELTS in the list of the requirements they listed for submission to the visa office, unless maybe visa office will request this after I submit the full application to them.

Hey,

I have been seeing that everybody has been typing in the date on which the full application has been recieved by the ND visa office. How do you know that?

I tried sending the application by ocurier, but no courier company was willing to send it, as there was a PO box address. The address i used was:

The Canadian High Commission
Immigration Section
P.O. Box 5209
7/8 Shantipath
Chanakyapuri
New Delhi, India 110 021

Is this the correct address? Also, i did not send my RPRF DD in the full application as i read on the CIC website that the DD needs to be sent at a later date when demanded by the VISA office.
Did i goof up? Pls. let me know.

Details: Sent to Novo Scotia: 15th May 2009
Recieved file number: 25th June
Sent documents to ND visa office: 11th Aug. 2009 (By speed post)
