I wrote the test in Jan 2011 but did not receive any update until I check on the website today....... It stated a letter was sent to me in May to appear before a judge on May 30, 2011; but I NEVER received this letter!!!! And therefore missed the appointment.

I will call the office on Monday, but generally, what is the status of my application now?

I believe you have 60 days to write them a letter and explain why you missed the appointment.  Then they will give you another appointment.

I will send them a letter and send it via courier.
