wrong name in AOR

Hi,

I received my AOR today, but i have my name in AOR as Kunal Kumar Kumar instead of only Kunal Kumar.

In my application i had mentioned

FAMILY NAME: KUMAR

GIVEN NAMES: KUNAL KUMAR

i think thats the reason. but that is how it is mentioned in my passport. And cant just have my name wrong as that.

how does one correct this and is there a problem?

Please be explicit - How is your name written on your passport?

It is only KUNAL KUMAR mentioned in the GIVEN NAMES in my passport


Nothing else is mentioned in any other column for my family/surname names.

My family name is KUMAR.

Hi kumar,

Dont worry.  Alll you have to do is write a letter to them about your correct name.   and wait till you get letter for then asking for updated information when they are about decide and you can again update your name.

I had similar problem my surname and given name interchaged but I sent a letter and asked doctor during medical test to correct the name( generally you get opportunity during medical test to check your name and ask doctor to correct it according to pasport).
