I could not find this info: can somebody help? Confirm my understanding:
RPRF fees of 19900 is for principal applicant and spouse ONLY. RPRF fees is NOT applicable for Dependent Children. So, for a family of say 4 (principal, spouse, child 1, child 2), the draft should be for 39800 only?
thanks in advance...

Right. I have sent for my spouse and myself only and not for my kids. It worked. That's the way it is.

Hi Sharma77,
What does that mean? The minors photo in passport should be less than 3 years old? Is 3 years a standard time frame? please elaborate.

Right. It's mentioned in the passport+RPRF request letter. Sharma77....What do you plan to do now? Will passport office change the photograph? Anyway, in India a minor's passport is valid for 5 years and one can apply for renewal anytime within 12 months before the expiry date. Let me know what you did regarding this. Regards joy

Hi Sharma77,
We were also asked to update the passport photo of our 4 year old, the passport was issued at 1.5 yrs. We had sent RPRF along with full docs to Delhi (per the new Delhi visa office rules) around mid June, and early August we received medical request along with a letter asking to update the child passport photo (but no passport request at this stage, I presume because of the change required).
The passport office told us that they cannot update a new photo onto an existing passport and therefore a new passport was issued. If the same is the case with you, note that you will also have to update the application for permanent residence form (which contains the child passport no and expiry date).
Hope this helps.
