Hello, I'm a young woman hoping to migrate to Canada by 2013. I've been search through websites for the past week for a Forum of others who are in the same boat as me. I do have family in Ontario, quite a bit of family who are citizens, but I just need some advice on looking for work and migrating. If anyone could offer me any on this forum that would be great. I am new, so I don't know how the forum runs yet lol. Thanks x

Hi

Hello, I'm a young woman hoping to migrate to Canada by 2013. I've been search through websites for the past week for a Forum of others who are in the same boat as me. I do have family in Ontario, quite a bit of family who are citizens, but I just need some advice on looking for work and migrating. If anyone could offer me any on this forum that would be great. 1.  The first place you should look is www.cic.gc.ca  You have to see if you qualify first for Immigration.  To apply as a skilled worker, you require 67 points, and you must have 1 years experience in the list of "29" in the past 10 years.  http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list  Or you must have an approved employment opinion from HRSDC stating that the employer will hire you once you become a PR.
2.  There are other paths, such CEC where you have worked in Canada in a skilled job for  2 years.
