Hi guys! I just finished my IELTS and got all 16 points but after re assessing my points I found out that I only got 65 points. Would it be better just to file for refund or continue with my application?

My 120 days would be over by the end of January.

here are my points

education = 20 as a nurse
IELTS = 16
work experience = 19 (3years and 4 months)
age = 10

Hi

If you are sure that you are unable to get 67 points then withdraw your case so that you can atleast get the money back because once decision is made then no refund and these days visa offices are very strict they wont give any chance or compromise on points.

Cheers

thanks for the replies guys.

I passed it last week of May so I did not include any IELTS result. I got my 1st AOR last Oct 5 so I took IELTS the next available exam date,  got the result and was very happy that I got 7.5 in listening and 6.5 in the other parts. So I think even before they gave me 1st AOR I did not meet the 67 points.

I was thinking maybe they are thinking about my experience or my under graduate course. I was a 3rd year computer science student before shifting to nursing.

Still thinking of what to do!

Have you thought about attempting french language exams? You may be able to get your 2 points from there. Also your nursing,is it BSc or diploma?I think diploma carries more points than BSc.Please check the guide to confirm this.

yes I got BSN diploma nursing so maybe they counted my course 22 or 23 just maybe. I am leaning towards trying it out as well. Time is gold!

If u have,A three-year diploma for nursing, trade certificate or apprenticeship AND at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent study then your point is 22.
