Hi,
ESL- english as a second language
ESL course is designed for non english speaker.if you dont meet min. requirement college/uni. gives you conditional letter of admission in main course by enrolling in this programe

However it is not recommanded from the visa point of view.
some roadside consultants marketing it with like
Study in canada=no ielts/no toefel/Direct admissions.
