While I was filling out the online work-permit extension application, i came across this question. Can someone explain what does it actually mean?

I made my PR application under FSW-2 (arranged employment) category this March. I received the initial positive determination letter from Nova Scotia CIC office in March following which I received a second letter from CIC, New Delhi office stating that they had received my entire application package and i can expect another letter from them in 6 months time detailing further instructions. So, do i have to check 'Yes' or 'No'?

You should answer "no".

Approved in Principle (AIP) refers to the first stage of an inland spousal sponsorship and has nothing to do with FSW.
