hi evryone,,,i login here to ask some of ur opinion...im going home in philippines this coming april27,2012 but my working permit expires july2012,,,what i have to do?do i have to renew now mmy working permit?and if i have a new working permit do i need to have a re entry visa?thanks a lot i hope u can have advise on me.

Are you doing a job that requires a LMO? if so you know it takes longer to obtain your work permit.Just to renew your work permit only it requires about 90 days prior to the expiry date. Looking at your travel plan, if you take one month vacation from April you only have 2 months left from your current work permit. You may not have issues to come back if your visa is still valid. However it is recommended to have an updated employment offer from your current employer which indicates that they require your services further. By second week of March you may apply for your new work permit online. and some one here in Cnada might send that off to your home address if that arrives at the time you are still on vacation.

[yes im currently employed as live in caregiver.i only have 3weeks vacation,which is april 27-may19..im worry if ever i wont renew my working permit...pls thanks!

[/hi there...im a live in caregiver... planning to have vacation 3weeks...april27-may19.u mean that even if i wont renew my working permit by my vacation i still can come back here n canada..my working permit expires july 2012,should i renew before i have vacation or after?and pls how can i do online renewal of working permit?thanks for the reply i really appreciate.

 @ flor you can use your current wp when you go on vacation. You need a letter from your employer and re entry visa.
For the mean time you can renew now your wp without LMO provided your working with the same employer. But once you change to new employer you need new LMO and WP.
