Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this forum and need some help.

I'm Currently living in South Africa, and i want to find work in Canada.
I don't know where to start or what to do.

I've got my Passport, and that's about it!

Where do i go from here?

Please guys i need some major help!!!

First you'll need to find an employer in Canada who is willing to hire you. Once you have found an employer, that employer will have to submit a Labour Market Opinion for approval. If the Labour Market Opinion is approved, you will then be able to apply for a work permit.

So the first step is to find a job in Canada.

You can start by looking for jobs on sites such as monster.ca.

Note that many Canadian employers are hesitate to consider foreign candidates because of the amount of time and paperwork required to hire them - and because there's always a chance the Labour Market Opinion will be refused.
