Hello,

My husband is working in Canada now, and his employer wants to keep him on permanently (we've been here since September 1st). Can he apply under the skilled worker category from inside Canada and use his present job as the "arranged offer of employment"?

Thanks much,
C.

The employer has to write a letter stating that he will employ your spouse full time which he receives his PR.  Also the job must be in NOC O, A or B.  He still must meet the points criteria and the work permit must have been obtained via an approved LMO>
