i am on a working hoilday visa which lasts one year, i have found a really good job and would like to stay i want to know if i can extend or how i could go about it so i can stay, i am here till april and would like something sorted before then can anyone help.

cannot your employer help you with it? they in the visa office usually do net extend visa until you show them proof from employer.

Normally you can't extend WHV's but you might be able to apply for it again from within Canada and get another year.  That depends on the rules of that particular program.  With some of them, you can't even do that.  The other way to stay is get the employer to apply for an LMO for the job and then you can apply for a regular work permit.  You can read about LMO's here: http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/workplaceskills/foreign_workers/supperimm.shtml  If you are visa exempt, once you have the LMO, you can take it to the border and apply for your new work permit on the spot and get it right away.
