Would I be able to go door to door and work for my bf's company in sales while not getting paid? I would basically be volunteering. 

Is this ok on my tourist visa? Thanks!

No - that would be illegal.

While you may not be getting paid, going door to door in a sales roles is something people usually get paid to do. Since it's something people usually get paid to do - volunteering in this role would be the same as working.
