Working after applying PR on CEC.

Hello,

I read that we can stay during the PR is under process.
My question is,
Can I work in Canada during my PR is under process after 2 yrs on work permit?
I mean, after 2 yrs on work permit, once I applied for PR, Can i work for any employer? Suppose my employer terminates the contract after I applied PR and its still in process? Can I still live in canada and work for other company?

You require an approved LMO from the employer and a new work permit to continue working.
