Hi,

I'm planning to apply for Canadian citizenship. I worked in Asia for 1 year during last 4 years. I would like to know:

1. Can I include the period when I was in Asia in eligible days (1095 days)?
2. What is the definition of Canadian company under this law?
3. Will the citizenship approval process be different under normal case? I heard that in these cases a Judge determines the eligibility and the processing time may be longer than normal period, is it correct?

Thanks for the help

Hi

No, citizenship requires physical presence.

2. What is the definition of Canadian company under this law?

Immaterial as it doesn't count.

3. Will the citizenship approval process be different under normal case? I heard that in these cases a Judge determines the eligibility and the processing time may be longer than normal period, is it correct?

If you have less than 1095 days, when you apply you will end up seeing a judge, or if there is a doubt about your "claimed" days in Canada

Thanks for the help
