I am currently in Montreal on a work permit. I am thinking of studying in Vancouver this September; am I able to change my status from a temporary work permit holder to a student permit holder? about how long would it take?

thank you in advance for the help!

Hi,

1. Yes, you are eligible (provided you meet eligibility of study permit application like finance, tuition etc).
2. You can apply for study permit 'within Canada' ONLY IF you hold a valid work permit for a minimum of 6 months.
3. Around 20 'working days'.
