I got my work permit refused because LMO is still in processing.

So, it means that I am on the restoration period as the letter from CIC mentioned.

Also, I was given notice as 90 days to restore my status as a work permit holder.

Anyway, I quit my job because of this. and coincidently, my wife got an admittance letter from school starting from Sep 2012

My question is whether I can apply to restore my status(my wife's as well) with application for student visa.

The only thing that I am worried is the gap between application for student visa and the school intake is long.

Anyone can help with this? Thanks in advance.
