Work permit processing time clarification

Hello Everyone, Just a general inquiry about work permit application here in Dubai.  Already submitted my papers last month November 23, does anyone here knows how long it takes to process an application? In the website, it says that as soon as an officer receives the application on their hand, the process will start, they will notify You after 2 weeks if you need medical etc. I am really little bit curious if the application really started. Please share your experiences if you had the same as mine.
