I am here in canada vancouver, try to get my sister as live-in caregiver. I applied for LMO and get a positive return, (takes 1 month) before i get the result. So what do i do next? any help will be appreciated. thnx

Renan, it says here in this link that you should send a copy of the LMO confirmation to the foreign worker together with the job offer (I think this also means job contract); better visit this link for more details: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/hire-how.asp.  I hope this helps.

Hi Renan,

I actually applied for LMO at the end of October (Toronto, ON) and got a positive response in November. My sister who is currently here as a visitor then applied for the work permit within Canada but it was refused in Jan as this type of apps must be done out of Canada. She then sent the app again at the end of Jan to Buffalo and she's been asked to come for a personal interview in March.
