I am on a temporary work permit. I met my wife here who is a permanent resident and we got married here in Canada as well. My wife already submitted the sponsorship in November, 2011 and my work permit will expire in March, 2012.

What do I need to do to keep my status here in Canada. My employer did not apply for a new LMO since he believed that I have submitted my application for PR and that is enough for me to stay here in Canada.

Please, advise!

Thank you

You mean't need to provide more details if your application was submitted inland or out-land.
