My WP expired on May 1st week. My WP extension was filled April 1st week and the current processing time says 138 days. I have an urgent need to travel outside Canada for a personal emergency. Can you please advise few things

1. Can I travel outside Canada and come back while my WP is in extension? My undersanting one needs the approved extension notice
to get a TRV stamped before you can enter Canada again
2. If not, can I work outside Canada for a couple of months on an Canadian payroll till my WP extension is approved and I get my TRV
stamped outside canada to come back post the approval.

Please advise

Can someone please share their experience on a situation similiar to this for our benefit? The current processing time btw is 138 days and you are also not eligible for OHIP during the implied status. Mitchell let stay in touch just incase we are able to help each other...
