Work Permit Application: It's been 9months already!

Greetings!

To all my co-applicants who submitted their applications for work permit on these months, October~December 2008. How's your application? Me, i submitted my documents to the Canadian Embassy in Singapore last Nov. 25, 2008 but until now i got no result yet. Please share your updates with us so that we can have some ideas also.

What do you think? Do we still have the chance to be approved?

I don't know if it will help you. I applied for work permit here in the Philippines and it tooks less than 1 year before they send a response. I passed all the documents June 2008, I received their response April 2009 instructing me for the next step.  I took SPEAK Test June 2, after 1 week I received a letter from them, asking me to undergo medical exam and at the same time I dropped my Original passport and latest NBI Clearance at the embassy.  Until now, i'm still waiting for their response.  Hope it will give you an idea.
