Work permit application in Canada immigration at airport!!!

Hello everyone,

I am on post graduate work and working as engineer. My wife got TRV recently and planning to join me soon. I know, she can apply for open work based on my post graduate work permit through online and papers later. but just wondering can She apply on the same the date she is landing at airport during her immigration.

If you have any experience, plz share...

Probably not, as spouses of PGWP holders require proof that there spouse is working in a skilled occupation.  If she can prove it at the POE, then she may get an OWP.  If not, she will have to apply to Vegreville with proof of you skilled job.
