I have a current shoplifting charge with a court date in Feb. My work permit expires in March 2009. I have no previous criminal record, so I have a good chance of the shoplifting charge being withdrawn. if it is withdrawn, i will have no criminal record. When i apply for a new permit, do I have to say 'yes' to the question about criminal offences and convictions even with a withdrawn charge.
