Hello and a pleasant day to everybody.

Just needed information about my case and to lighten up my mind.
I'm a live-in caregiver here in BC.
I submitted my owp and pr application(2 yrs under live-in caregiver program) last Jan.30'09
Received by CIC Feb 2'09
Started processing Feb 20'09
Current work permit will expire JUNE 9 ' 09
Current processing times for pr+owp is 6-7 mos.

With that processing time, I will prolly get a mail from CIC by August or September this year (hopefully).

Since my work permit and carecard will expire both by June ,should I apply for an extension of my work permit under my current-specific employer just to be covered again by MSP? I know MSP takes about 10 weeks for processing a coverage

I belive I'll be having an "IMPLIED STATUS" after JUNE, meaning that I could work with my current employer (even with an expired work permit) till the result of my application comes out.

What if I get sick(hopefully not) in the waiting period from June 10' 09 onwards?
Is it advisable and safer to extend my specific work permit so I would be worry-free having that "IMPLIED STATUS"?
How many percent of people having an implied status  get a POSITIVE result from their application?

Please help and thank you in advance.
CHEEERS=)
