Hi everyone,

I received my CSQ about a month ago and sent my application to Buffalo about a week ago. As encouraged by the immigration officer who interviewed me for my CSQ, I have been applying for jobs in Montreal. I'm in NYC now. I may be making progress with a potential employer, who has some questions about the whole work permit/visa situation. I am hoping someone can explain to me the best way to explain the way this works. I have asked about this before, but am still a little unclear how the process works. I understand I can get a work permit and finish the PR process in Montreal should I be offered employment. I guess I'm just looking for more details, etc. Also, does my file remain in Buffalo if I move on a work permit? They will obviously be aware that I have moved, yes? Any information would be greatly appeciated as I really want to be clear with the person who I'm talking to regarding a job. Thanks so much!
