I have been studying in Canada on a study permit from more than a year. I was awarded work permit and I have been doing a job and working 20 hrs a week. I am now nearing the completion of my studies and I want to continue my job because the degree I have done has not much scope in my country. I want to ask that can I stay in Canada and continue my job or get another job.
If I get a full time employment then can I stay in Canada and also apply for work permit or will it be the responsibility of the employer to provide the work permit and visa?????

After completion of your study you can apply for post graduation work permit. You do not need any employment offer to obtain this. The only requirement is that you have to prove by submitting your completion of degree certificate or a final official transcript. You will have 90 days time to apply for this after your graduation date.
Please visit the CIC website for more information in this regard.

Thank you.
