work pemit is expire waiting for owp and pr need help

hi guy need help my friend expired her work permit last sept.2011 but she is waiting for owp and pr she sent her application last year 2010 did she need to apply for restoration ? or its ok to wait for her owp? pls need answer guys if some body knows thank u

if shes still working with the same employer, shes on implied status but if shes unemployed and find another employer shes might need to restore her status and pay another wp. I have a friend who pay restoration fee when she apply for new employer 3 weeks ago. So im waiting for the results if they will refund her 200 ill keep you posted.

so she really need to find a job to apply for work permit?and she cant stay here waiting for open work permit?

she can stay in canada while waiting for her owp/pr. No need to find a job as long as she can support herself. Some lcp here in the forum waitng for their owp/pr are unemployed too when they recv thier owp. So theres no problem. When did she  send her application?

thank u wsongco  last yr october she sent her application she wondering coz some nannies told her that the immgration will send her home coz her work permit is expired she finish her contract for 3yrs last september now she is waiting for her opw and pr so she is ok to stay here i know she can support her self

there is no guarantee that you can reenter canada..  did u hear about yong pilipina na narefuse yong reentry visa nya s philippines??she was on her OWP but she didnt have employer..kya doon n lang sya ng antay ng PR.. i didnt know wat happnd then..
