Dear All.

I am planning to apply for canadian visa under skilled worker category. This category require 67 points.

I have enough points in all the 5 factors but have dought in work experience.

I am working as a Laboratory Assistant in Helthcare industry which is science based role.

Now can I claim a points for this work experience?

I have gone through the NOC list and I think this job title falls under 3212.......but they kept erase line on this category what does it mean?

I would appreciate if you will help me with this query

Regards

Hi psingh:  sorry that no one has answered your query before now.  If you check this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp  you will notice that your occupation does not appear in the most up to date list of 29 occupations (NOC 29).  Unless you have worked for at least one full year in one of those 29 occupations in the past 10 years, OR have an approved job offer in a skilled category (level 0, A, or B) you will not qualify to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker programme.  I wonder if you might have been looking at an OLD list of occupations in which NOC 3212 was included and has now been removed, hence the line through.  I hope this answers your question.  Good Luck.
