I have appointment letter which is praobably different from the job contract, will that suffice. What is the main difference between an appointment letter and job contract. Normally in our own countries when we get a job, its always a job offer letter or appointment letter but never job contracts. Job contracts are usually made when we get some overseas jobs, like ones in UAE and Saudi Arabia, etc. Please suggest.

Thanks

Hi Hasni,

There is a little difference between job appointment letter and job contract paper. Job appointment letter doesn't need your signature but in the contract letter there should be signature both of the employer and employee.

 @  shushilmuna,
you are right but job offer also has two signatories at the bottom, ie employer and the employee.you accept the offer by signing in there.
